3rd SPP Colloquium in Göttingen, 11-13 June 2018

The third SPP colloquium took place at the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research in Göttingen from 11-13 June 2018. The focus topic was “Geomagnetic Field”.  Various oral presenattions and poster sessions resulted in a successful meeting and paved the way for new scientific ideas. The keynote lectures provided an insightful discussion platform for the attendees given by the following keynote speakers:

Vincent Lesur, Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris, France: “Empirical modelling of core and crustal fields”.

Julien Aubert, Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris, France: “The interplay of core convection and hydromagnetic waves in geomagnetic variations”.
